A place that feels familiar.

Richmond House is designed to feel comfortable and homely, with private rooms, shared spaces and a garden residents can enjoy throughout the year.

It’s important that you feel like you are at home while you are at Richmond House.

Your own space.

Every resident has their own room, with the freedom to make it feel personal and familiar.

01

Private rooms

Richmond House has 18 single rooms and one companion room.

02

Personal items

Residents are welcome to bring favourite pictures, photos, ornaments and other belongings.

03

Call system

Every room has a call system so residents can ask the care team for assistance when needed.

04

Comfort

The aim is to make each room feel like part of a home rather than simply a bedroom in a care setting.

Bring the things that matter.

Moving into a care home is a big change. Familiar surroundings can make that transition easier.

We encourage residents to bring a few favourite items such as ornaments, pictures and photographs.

Electrical items can also be brought in and will be tested to make sure they are safe to use.

Room to spend time together.

Richmond House has shared lounges, dining areas and garden spaces where residents can eat, relax, take part in activities or spend time with visitors.

A garden with life in it.

The garden gives residents somewhere to sit outside, enjoy better weather and spend time with family and friends.

We have daily visits from birds, resident squirrels, a regular therapy dog and Richmond House’s two home cats.
