If you or someone you care for is struggling due to age, ill health, disability, or changing circumstances, support may be available through the Betty Ross Trust. The Trust helps people aged 60 and over across Perthshire who need financial assistance to improve daily life at home and maintain their independence for as long as possible.

Supporting independent living
Funding may be available for essential equipment and home adaptations that make life safer, easier, and more comfortable.
This can include:
- Hospital beds for use at home
- Specialist chairs or mobility equipment
- Bathroom adaptations
- Other practical equipment or home improvements that support independent living
Every application is considered individually based on personal circumstances and need.
Grant funding available
Grants of up to £5,000 are available, with most awards typically around £3,000. Supporting information will be required as part of the application process.
