The Hive is the main accommodation at Bee Happy Breaks and offers a fully accessible, single storey self catering studio ideal for short breaks in Perthshire. Attached to our home and purpose built for comfort, it features a blend of modern and refurbished furniture that creates a relaxed and homely atmosphere.
Well equipped self catering kitchen
The kitchen is fitted with contemporary dark blue units and includes everything needed for easy self catering in Perthshire. Appliances include a microwave, air fryer, electric frying pan, slow cooker and fridge freezer, giving you full flexibility whether you prefer simple meals or relaxed holiday cooking.
Open plan living and dining
The open plan layout provides a light and comfortable living space where you can enjoy a meal, unwind after a day exploring Perthshire or watch your favourite shows on the smart TV with Sky Q. It is a welcoming setting for couples looking for a peaceful rural retreat.
Spacious en suite and sleeping options
The en suite shower room is bright, modern and easy to access. The king size bed offers a restful night’s sleep and a single bed can be added for guests who prefer to sleep separately. The layout is ideal for couples or friends visiting the Perthshire area.
Private patio with countryside views
The Hive has a private furnished patio that looks out over the garden and surrounding countryside. It is a quiet spot for morning coffee or an evening drink. If you would like to host visitors, additional outdoor seating can be arranged with Joyce and Alan.
Fast Wi-Fi, housekeeping and doggy details
The Hive has reliable 5G Wi-Fi for guests who need to stay connected. A £150 good housekeeping bond is required, and there is a weekly £25 charge for one medium sized dog. One well behaved dog is welcome at The Hive. As the studio is attached to the owners’ home and surrounded by cats, a dog and free range hens and ducks, dogs must be kept on a lead. The front garden is not fully enclosed.
Depending on the season, fresh eggs from our hens and ducks can be purchased during your stay.

Yes. The Hive is a single storey, fully ambulatory accessible studio with level entry and an easy access layout.
Unfortunately not, but our shephards huts are both dog friendly
Yes. One well behaved dog is welcome, with a weekly fee of £25. Dogs must be kept on a lead due to the presence of hens, ducks and pets on the property.
Does The Hive have Wi-Fi?
Yes. Guests can use fast 5G Wi-Fi throughout the studio.

The village of Stanley is only a short drive away and offers shops, dining options and local attractions.
